Banana

Bananas are processed into wine, brandy, liqueur, banana flour, banana powder, banana flakes, banana chips and dried bananas (banana figs).
Bananas may be frequently found in milk mixes. Therefore, you should carefully read the list of ingredients before buying such drinks. In Asian cuisine, bananas are used to garnish poultry and as a dessert. Other fruit sorts are the alternatives.
Cross reactions: Bananas have common allergenic strucures with latex. If one is allergic or sensitised to latex, a cross reaction with banana is possible. You can absolutely react to banana without ever having eaten one. The indoor plant Benjamin’s fig is another possible source for this allergen. If you are sensitised to the plant, you shouldn’t have it in your rooms. There may also be cross reactions with avocado and melons.
